I needed a dental implant to replace a root canal gone bad. I had been looking for about 10 years, mostly because after my root canal experience i was terrified to see a dentist again.. My friend actually works for Dr. Fayerman and told me he was wonderful so i gathered my courage and went in for a consultation. Dr. Fayerman put me at ease right away, he was very reassuring and calmed my fears. Then my friend who works his front desk checked into my insurance coverage and explained all my payment options(the other part of my procrastinating in treatment was cost!). It was not as expensive as i had thought (thankfully my insurance helps pick up the cost) and they take care credit! I booked my appointment and walked out the door feeling great. Its 7am the day of my implant my nerves are shot... I called my friend to ask her if i could take a shot of whiskey before coming in ... you know liquid courage and all. Apparently it interferes with the novicain or something I had to go in cold turkey... After I was numbed up (which I barely felt) the time flew by.. i believe this is mostly due to the fact that I got to watch my soap on the tv in the room (they gave me headphones so i didn't have to hear them working!). I was done in about an hour, I felt nothing, I walked out of that office with a smile (well as much of a smile as the numbness would let me have) I was HAPPY!! I go back in about 3 months to have the implant crown put in.
I will be recommending Dr. Fayerman to everyone I know from now on!!!!
